Vilhelm Blomgren plays the leading role in the upcoming Swedish comedy "The Greenest Grass" which will have its cinema premiere next year. Blomgren has previously, among other things, played in Lukas Moodysson's TV series "Gösta", in Ari Aster's "Midsommar" as well as in Ella Lemhagen's film "As Long as the Heart Beats".
The film is directed by Kim Sundbeck, takes place in Malmö, and is described as a "Möllan romcom" about a guy whose tired relationship suddenly gets an unexpected boost.
"We want to capture both the chaotic and the warm with Malmö, during a period where Malmö shows itself from its best side. Kim has written a film that is both intelligent and very funny", says Ann Lundberg, producer, in a press release.
In other roles, among others, Anna Asp, Maria Nohra, Ia Langhammer and Cedomir Glisovic can be seen.
