Viktor Arvidsson leaves the NHL team Edmonton after having been involved in and lost the Stanley Cup final against Florida earlier in the summer.
A new club address will be Boston in the USA, where the forward has been traded in exchange for a choice in the fifth round of the NHL draft in 2027.
It was only one season in Canada for the 32-year-old who this winter was involved in and played in the NHL's national team tournament Four Nations, where Tre Kronor missed the final.
A year ago, Arvidsson was traded to Edmonton as a so-called free agent from Los Angeles and signed a two-year contract.
