Viking Stavanger Stun Bayern Munich With Late Equaliser After Olise Red Card

It was a thrilling Champions League night in Stavanger. The home team earned a sensational point against Bayern Munich - largely thanks to Michael Olise’s unnecessary sending-off.

Viking Stavanger shocked the German giants in the first half, taking a 2-0 lead with goals from Gianni Stensness and Peter Christiansen.

In the second half, Bayern Munich showed their class and fought back with two goals from Harry Kane. When Luis Diaz made it 3-2 with 15 minutes left, it looked like they had secured the win.

Then Michael Olise got involved.

The France international was sent off after, among other things, throwing the ball in Zlatko Tripic's face.

"Mike" will be disappointed now, and he will have to take responsibility and learn from it, Harry Kane said on Viaplay.

Viking took advantage of the opportunity, and Herman Haugen headed in the equaliser to secure a shock point for the Norwegian side.
