Beach volleyball stars and Olympic Games gold pair David Åhman and Jonatan Hellvig played beach volleyball with the crown princess couple when they received the Victoria Prize on Öland.
We have tried to teach a little different strokes and then we got to play a little together, it was fun, says Jonatan Hellvig to Sveriges Radio P4 Kalmar.
The beach volleyball players appreciate the prestigious award.
It means a lot, it is very honorable. It is really cool to be inscribed among those names, they are really cool sports profiles who have received this award before, says David Åhman.
Among previous winners are stars like Ingemar Stenmark, Gunde Svan, Sarah Sjöström and Armand Duplantis. Last year, the award went to volleyball star Isabelle Haak.
