"Since I came to Sweden, I have always had a good feeling for Bajen. Experiencing the supporters and the style of play that the club stands for will suit me perfectly," Lind says in a statement.
Expressen reports that Hammarby is paying 28 million SEK for Lind, which is the most a Swedish club has ever paid for a player. It is also the largest transfer between two Swedish clubs ever.
"The recruitment of Victor is the largest in Hammarby's history and it is possible thanks to the hard work that many within the club have contributed in recent years," says sports director Mikael Hjelmberg.
Last season, Lind had ten goals and four assists in the Swedish league. The contract runs until 2029.
