Two of the victims tell TV4 how they experienced severe symptoms, including uncontrollable shaking and heart palpitations.

"Like fever chills a hundred times over. It felt like the heart was beating, vibrating, like it was going to beat out of the chest and hit the back of one's throat," one of them tells TV4.

The prosecutor has not yet said what caused the symptoms. The victims were not told until the criminal investigation was closed.

Now they say it was salbutamol in liquid form - a bronchodilator asthma drug sold under the name Ventoline. In large doses, it disrupts the body's potassium levels.

The investigation into attempted murder was closed in April 2026.
