In "The Mountain", viewers follow the ski resort's employees who work to provide Åre's visitors with well-groomed slopes, service and the ultimate skiing experience. The series also portrays travelers and celebrities with connections to Åre.
"During the high season, both Swedish and foreign tourists make a pilgrimage to the mountains where Åre is the crown jewel of the north. We get to follow an everyday life that includes everything from hard work and unexpected challenges to moments that are both touching and surprising," says Alexander Tanno, responsible manager at Viaplay, in a press release.
"Fjället" will be broadcast on Viaplay and TV3 in the fall of 2026.
