The security company Verisure is making a comeback on the Stockholm stock exchange. The listing will be one of the largest on the Stockholm stock exchange in recent years.

Rumors about a listing have been circulating for a while but are now confirmed by the company. Verisure, which was previously called Securitas Direct, is thus returning to the Stockholm stock exchange after being bought out in 2008.

When listed again now, it will be a multi-billion listing. The company announces that it will issue new shares for 3.1 billion euro, equivalent to approximately 34 billion kronor, they write in a press release.

"Today's announcement is an important milestone for Verisure. Although we are well-established as market leaders, we are only at the beginning of a journey where there is significant potential ahead", writes the company's CEO Austin Lally in the press release.
