Verdict upheld in case of boy killed by bomb blast in southern Stockholm

In the district court, the 23-year-old, a high-ranking figure in a criminal network in Huddinge, was sentenced to ten years and ten months in prison for, among other things, instigating serious public destruction. Two 15-year-olds were sentenced to one year in closed youth care for aiding and abetting.

The Svea Court of Appeal now upholds the verdict against the man and the two young people.

It was on August 22 last year that a 15-year-old boy died when he was about to carry out a bomb attack in Östberga in southern Stockholm.

Exactly what happened is still unclear. One likely scenario is that the 15-year-old panicked when he saw that a man had spotted him as he was about to place the explosive device.
