Sangha is one of five people formally charged in the case, including two doctors and Perry's assistant. Sangha was arrested in August 2024 and last fall admitted to providing Perry a dose of the drug ketamine that led to his death.
Perry was found dead in his swimming pool in Los Angeles in October 2023. An autopsy found traces of ketamine in his blood.
Matthew Perry's family is seeking the maximum prison sentence, according to a statement issued during a court hearing.
