The verdict against the former national security adviser Henrik Landerholm is being appealed, according to the prosecution authority.
Landerholm was acquitted in the district court of the charge of negligence with secret information.
"Unlike the district court, we believe that the man's actions have been grossly negligent and that he should therefore be convicted of gross negligence with secret information”, the prosecutors write in their appeal.
