The parent company is now working to find a long-term financing solution and complete an ownership change regarding the subsidiaries, according to a press release from Ellos.

The chairman of the parent company's board, Arthur Engel, is leaving, according to the press release. So are the independent board members Patrik Illerstig and Kristina Schauman.

"Now the focus is on putting in place a structure where Ellos Group is transferred to new owners to continue as a leading Nordic player, and in connection with this, it is natural that these board changes take place", says Robert Furuhjelm, partner at Nordic Capital, according to the press release.

The ongoing processes will, according to Ellos, "not affect Ellos Group's business relationships or operations, which will continue as usual, nor affect suppliers or employees".
