"Enough with orders from Washington directed at politicians in Venezuela. Let Venezuelan politics resolve our differences and internal conflicts. Enough with foreign powers," Rodríguez said during a speech to oil workers in Venezuela on Sunday local time.
Rodríguez took over the country in early January after the US invaded and captured President Nicolás Maduro. She was previously vice president under Maduro and has said she is “open” to diplomatic solutions following the US attack.
She has also opened the door to reforms in the country's oil industry, over which the United States seeks influence.
