Venezuela criticizes that an American military vessel has been sent to Trinidad and Tobago for exercises near Venezuela's coast.
"Venezuela condemns Trinidad and Tobago's, in collaboration with the CIA's, military provocation with the aim of provoking a war in the Caribbean", states Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro's government in a statement.
In recent weeks, the US has carried out a number of attacks on so-called narcoboats, mainly off Venezuela's coast.
