The Venezuelan interior minister accuses the USA of extrajudicial murders after the USA attacked an alleged smuggling boat with eleven people on board. They murdered the eleven people without judicial review. I wonder if this can be allowed to happen, says Diosdado Cabello.

It was on Tuesday that the American navy sank a boat in the Caribbean Sea, which was alleged to contain drugs from South America.

According to American authorities, the eleven crew members were supposed to be "narcoterrorists" belonging to a Venezuelan crime syndicate.

The US's actions have been questioned by several experts who believe that international law does not allow attacks on civilians solely based on suspicion of crime. It is also not allowed to deny accused persons a judicial review.

At the same time, the US says that they intend to step up the work against drug cartels with more offensive efforts and attacks outside the country's borders.
