The team also reportedly refused to let media into the locker room after the victory that secured advancement to the Stanley Cup semifinals.
Vegas said in a statement that the club is aware of the decision and will not be making any further comments. The penalty can be appealed on the spot to NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman next week.
