Vegas assistant captain William Karlsson has been injured since early November.
According to Canadian site TSN, the Swede will miss the Olympics.
Karlsson was on the national team when Tre Kronor won the World Cup gold in 2017.
National team captain Sam Hallam will name the Olympic squad on Friday.
