After two losses on home ice – 3–5 on Wednesday and 0–6 on Friday – Växjö was under pressure ahead of Sunday's meeting in Ängelholm.

It didn't start particularly well for the away team either, as Rögle's Linus Sandin gave the home team a 1–0 lead after the first period. Växjö's Karl Henriksson, however, equalized in the second, and it was 1–1 before the third.

Rögle then took the lead through Albin Sundsvik, who had scored a hat trick last time, before Växjö equalized again and turned the match into a victory.

Leo Sahlin Wallenius first tied the score at 2-2 before American Brogan Rafferty scored to make it 3-2. Hugo Gustafsson scored the 4-2 goal into an empty net.

Växjö thus reduced the best-of-seven semifinal series to 1–2. The next match will also be played in Ängelholm, on Tuesday evening.

On Monday evening, Skellefteå could be the first team to qualify for the Swedish Championship final. The Västerbotten team leads the series 3–0 heading into the fourth semi-final against reigning champion Luleå in Norrbotten.
