The ice hockey club said this in an update on its website on Sunday.
Ville Svensson was struck in the face by a skate after the Växjö forward and Örebro's Pasi Puistola lost their balance in a duel in which both fell.
Svensson went to the players' bench, where medical staff attended to him, and he was then taken to hospital.
"We can report today that Ville is doing well under the circumstances but will have to take precautionary measures in the near future. We will not comment further on the matter," the club writes on its website.
There are three rounds remaining in the SHL regular season before the playoffs begin.
