Färjestad tightens grip after huge turnaround against Rögle

"It's clear that it's a real blow. We're leading 5-0 but we can't keep our cool," Rögle coach Dan Tangnes told TV4.

Rögle took the lead after three minutes. Fifteen minutes later the score was 5–0 to the home team.

Färjestad's Viktor Lodin scored to make it 1–5 before the first-period break, beginning the comeback.

Early in the second period, David Tomasek doubled the lead to 3–5. In the third, Emil Alba made it 4–5 before Marian Studenic tied the score at 5–5 with 2.5 minutes remaining.

In overtime, Tomasek scored on the power play for his third goal of the evening to make it 6–5 in a game that had a total of 26 penalty minutes.

At the same time, Växjö beat Brynäs 6–4 in a thrilling match. Växjö leads the series 2–0.
