According to NME, the private meeting took place on Monday at the huge Santiago Bernabéu stadium, before the Pope spoke to around 80,000 people.
According to RTVE, Bad Bunny's associates had contacted church representatives in Spain to see if a meeting could be arranged. Bad Bunny met with the Pope along with "several family members" but no photos have been released.
On board the papal plane to Madrid, the Pope noted that most young people in Madrid would probably choose to see Bad Bunny instead of him.
"But I think there will also be some here to see the Pope. And that's saying something, you know," he said.
