An official in the island nation confirms to AP that the search has been stopped.
The ferry sank in very rough seas last Friday, with 53 people on board. Fourteen people were found alive at an early stage and shortly afterwards the remains of two victims were found.
No more have been found since last weekend, and the 37 who are still missing are believed to have perished in the waves.
The ferry's owner company is being investigated for ignoring weather warnings and sailing with more passengers than allowed.
