Ten days after the 27-year-old took bronze at the European Championships in Birmingham, she produced a strong discus throw at Slottsskogsvallen in Gothenburg, even though the winds were not ideal.
"We had really bad wind today. But I'm not a wind connoisseur, I just take it for granted," says Kamga.
She was very pleased with the effort, with the winning throw landing at 62.87 metres.
After the European Championships I have been very tired, a little sick. So I am happy that I was able to deliver at such a high level. My form is good and I am very excited for my last two competitions, Finnkampen and the Diamond League final.
Caisa-Marie Lindfors came second in 60.77.
