It was in her third throw that Kamga threw the discus 65.30 metres, just 1.31 metres off her personal and Swedish record. The throw was enough for fourth place in the English capital.
The winner was American Cierra Jackson with a throw of 71.72 metres, a new Diamond League record.
The result comes at a good time for Kamga, as the European Athletics Championships will be held in Birmingham in August. Kamga came fourth at the World Championships in Tokyo last year.
