"The then Attorney General Pam Bondi promised too much, which then turned out not to be true," says Vance in an interview with podcast host Joe Rogan.
She exaggerated what we had and what we didn't have, says Vance.
Bondi claimed, among other things, that she had access to a list of the deceased sex offender's clients, which created great expectations among activists on the right, where the Epstein affair has become a major issue. But many were disappointed when the documents were made public and did not contain much news.
Bondi was forced to leave her post in April.
"We messed up in terms of our communication around the Epstein files. That's it," Vance says.
