The Van Gogh museum in Amsterdam, which holds the world's largest collection of the artist's works, states that it may be forced to close due to lack of funding.
The Dutch Ministry of Culture rejects demands for an increased government grant for renovation. But without a renovation, it is not possible to guarantee safety, the museum states – which now takes the conflict over the grant to court.
