There is a lot of turmoil at Real Madrid right now. On Thursday, new internal conflicts flared up when Federico Valverde and Aurelien Tchouameni got into a fight.
Later in the evening, Real Madrid announced that Valverde had suffered a head injury and that both players were now being investigated internally.
Shortly afterwards, the midfielder broke his silence on Instagram:
"During the argument, I accidentally hit a table, causing a small cut on my forehead that required a routine hospital visit. My teammate never hit me, and I didn't hit him either," he wrote.
The Uruguayan will miss three matches due to the injury.
"I am sad and hurt to go through this situation."
