British Dyson, which sells vacuum cleaners, among other things, must reduce its workforce, reports Financial Times.
According to the newspaper, the company will get rid of over a quarter of its employees in the UK, around 1,000 jobs.
Employees were reportedly informed on Tuesday, and according to insiders, the news is part of a larger reduction among the company's total 15,000 employees.
We have grown rapidly and like all companies, we review our global structures from time to time to ensure that we are prepared for the future, says CEO Hanno Kirner.
