V leader Nooshi Dadgostar points out that the municipal tax rate in Dorotea, for example, is six kronor higher than in Lidingö.
And you don't get better welfare for it. That's where the injustice lies, she says.
To halve the tax gap, V wants to change the municipal equalisation system. The V proposal means, among other things, that municipalities' actual welfare costs should carry more weight than they do today. At the same time, the so-called growth incentive should be abolished.
V believes that wealthy commuter municipalities will lose the most from the proposal, while other types of municipalities will benefit, especially rural municipalities.
