In September, the City of Gothenburg decided to stop all grants to the association, due to unclearness surrounding transactions and loans. Now comes the next blow for Utsikten.
An employee has not received a salary since the spring and is now requesting that the club be declared bankrupt. He believes that the club owes him 79,281 kronor, according to GP.
In the application – which was submitted to the Gothenburg District Court on Friday – it appears that the club received a payment notice on September 24. Despite this, Utsikten has not paid.
”The association cannot rightly pay its debts and this inability is not just temporary. The association is therefore insolvent and should be declared bankrupt”, it says in the application according to the newspaper.
With four matches left of Superettan, Utsikten is on the lower qualifying spot in the table.
