After the Utah Jazz chose to bench their two stars, Lauri Markkanen and Jaren Jackson Jr., at the ends of recent games, the NBA has acted.
Under a policy introduced in 2023, the NBA has fined the Jazz $500,000 for failing to field its on-paper best lineup at the end of a game.
The Indiana Pacers were also fined $100,000 for a game against Utah.
