USA has sent military reinforcements to the Middle East, announces Defense Minister Pete Hegseth in a post on X.
"To protect American forces is our top priority and these reinforcements are intended to strengthen our defensive positions in the region", it says in the post.
It does not appear what type of military resources it is about.
