The USA has "temporarily suspended" Ukraine's access to satellite images that the US government purchases, announces a spokesperson for the American intelligence agency NGA.

Maxar, one of the companies that has provided images shared with Ukraine, confirms the suspension. The company adds that there is no "change in the way we support our other customers or their programs or contracts".

Ukraine has used the images to track how Russian forces are moving and to estimate damage after attacks.

The message comes after the US President Donald Trump ordered a pause for all military support and also intelligence to Ukraine.
