USA Launches New Attacks on Suspected Narcotics Boats; 14 Dead

USA has launched new attacks on alleged drug smugglers at sea. 14 people are reported to have been killed.

According to Minister of War Pete Hegseth, the USA carried out three attacks on four boats in the eastern Pacific Ocean on Monday. Only one person is said to have survived.

"All attacks took place in international waters and no American forces were injured", he writes on X.

This is the first time several American attacks have been announced at the same time.

The USA has repeatedly attacked boats in the Pacific Ocean and especially in the Caribbean Sea in recent times. According to Washington DC, the vessels have been involved in narcotics smuggling.

The death toll after the attacks at sea is now up to 57, according to the news agency AFP.
