"These criminal illegal immigrants are so uniquely barbaric that their home countries refused to take them back", writes the Department for Internal Security (DHS) on X.

Recently, eight other migrants were deported from the US to South Sudan, also reported to be convicted criminals from other countries.
US President Donald Trump promised during the presidential campaign last year that he would deport millions of migrants who do not have valid documents.
