Tensions between Denmark and the United States have escalated since Donald Trump said the US should have control of Greenland. However, in Saturday night's match between the countries, American goalkeeper Jeremy Swayman stole the show.
With the score tied at 1–1, Denmark's Nicholas Jensen flicked the puck from the red line towards the American goal - and saw it go in.
"It came right up between the stands and the field, and I lost it," Swayman says of the puck that passed over his right shoulder.
However, the USA managed to turn the game around and set the final score at 6–3 in the third period.
