The US postal service, US Postal Service, is making a complete turnaround regarding shipments from China. After initially announcing that packages would be stopped, the postal service has now decided to allow them.
The first announcement came after President Donald Trump's decision on new tariffs against China, but the postal service now writes on its website that it will work for an "efficient handling of shipments despite the new tariffs".
Trump's decision, which involves an additional 10 percent tariff on goods imported from China, came into effect on Tuesday morning. China responded with its own trade tariffs of 10 percent, and 15 percent on coal and natural gas.
