The US postal service, US Postal Service, announces that shipments from China are temporarily stopped.
The stop will last "until further notice" and comes after President Donald Trump's decision on new tariffs against China. Letters are exempt from the stop.
The US tariffs, which include an additional tariff of 10 percent on goods imported from China, came into effect on Tuesday morning. China responded with its own trade tariffs of 10 percent, and 15 percent on coal and natural gas.
