The USA and China are meeting on Thursday in South Korea for continued talks on tariffs, according to information from officials in South Korea to Bloomberg.

According to the information, the USA's trade representative Jamieson Greer and China's Vice Trade Minister Li Chenggang are meeting in Jeju in South Korea. No further details about the talks have emerged and the USA's embassy in Seoul has not confirmed that the meeting is taking place.

The meeting is taking place just days after the USA and China announced on Monday that they had reached an agreement during talks in Geneva, which means a pause in the tariff war between them. The deal means that many tariffs will be reduced by over 100 percentage points, down to 30 percent for Chinese goods to the USA and 10 percent for products from the USA to China.
