Two U.S. warships collided in the Caribbean Sea on Wednesday while transferring fuel and supplies. Two crew members were slightly injured in the collision.

The maneuver usually involves the ships sailing in parallel while fuel and supplies are transferred between them via hoses and cables.

The two ships, a destroyer and a supply ship, are in the region to participate in the U.S. operation against alleged drug boats.
