The deficit in the USA's trade balance increased to 140.5 billion dollars in March, according to fresh figures from the USA's trade department. It is an increase of 14 percent compared to the previous month.
The increase was unexpectedly large. On average, analysts had reckoned with 137.2 billion dollars.
