According to the newspaper, Iceland's Minister of Industry, Trade and Industry Katrin Fridriksson is planning a bill to permanently ban whaling in Icelandic waters early next year.
Previously, the EU has also threatened Iceland with tariffs if the Icelanders do not stop whaling, according to Visir.
