The US Supreme Court has approved the new gun laws proposed by the previous President Joe Biden's government. It's about making it easier to track so-called "ghost guns".

The law opens up for registering serial numbers, background checks on buyers, and age requirements.

The law was introduced in 2022 but was appealed to the highest instance.

A ghost gun is a weapon that has been assembled in some way by the customer. Often, they are sold online in ready-made "kits" where a weapon can be assembled in just half an hour.

Between 2017-2023, similar weapons were seized in large quantities in connection with crimes in the USA.
