Earthquake-stricken Venezuela is receiving emergency aid from the United States, the US military command Southcom announced on X on Friday night.
The US will send two warships, transport aircraft and helicopters to help with the logistics of the rescue efforts.
At least 188 people have died and more than 1,500 people have been injured in the two earthquakes that hit Venezuela on Wednesday.
