An alleged ISIS terrorist has been killed in a US strike in northwestern Syria, the US military said on Saturday.
The person is linked to a deadly attack in Palmyra in mid-December. The White House has accused ISIS of being behind the attack, which killed two American soldiers and an interpreter.
The US said in a statement that the man killed in the US strike was "an experienced terrorist leader."
