South Korea will get tariffs of 15 percent from the USA after the countries have written a new agreement, reports Bloomberg. The agreement also applies to car tariffs which are thus reduced.

The agreement involves, among other things, that South Korea will invest 200 billion dollars in the USA. The details of the country's investments will be finalized in January. They will also spend 150 billion dollars on ships.

US President Donald Trump announced on Wednesday morning that they had an agreement that was "almost finished". South Korea confirms that they have approved the details of the agreement. After the announcement, the local currency won is strengthened against several other currencies.

On Thursday, the US President will meet with China's President Xi Jinping.
