Saturday's and Sunday's talks focused, among other things, on "defining a sustainable and reliable security framework for Ukraine," wrote Witkoff on X.
The meeting took place after trilateral talks with Russia stalled in recent weeks in the shadow of the US and Israel's war against Iran.
"It is clear that the attention of the American side is currently mainly focused on the situation around Iran and in that region, but Russia's war against Ukraine must also come to an end," Zelenskyy wrote on Telegram on Sunday evening.
He added that the details of the meeting in Florida will be discussed when the Ukrainian delegation returns to Kyiv.
