The US Trade Minister Howard Lutnick and Trade Representative Jamieson Greer are currently working, according to Hassett, to produce 24 trade agreements>
Everyone looks a bit like the UK, but every one is tailored, every one is a little different because different countries have done us wrong in different ways and have different things they focus on, says Hassett to the channel.
On the question of whether any agreement can be presented already during the coming week, Hassett responds that "I would expect it" and that there is much that is approaching the finish line.
He also notes that "everyone wants an agreement" and soon.
On Thursday, a trade agreement was finalized between the US and the UK. The details are, however, not yet entirely clear, but will be presented later.
According to the US President Donald Trump, the agreement will, among other things, include expanded market access for American goods exported to the UK, primarily agricultural products.
For the British part, it is about being able to export 100,000 cars to the US with a customs duty of 10 percent instead of the 25 percent Trump previously set.
Day two of tariff negotiations is also underway between the US and China in Switzerland.
