The men's final in the US Open between world number one Jannik Sinner and world number two Carlos Alcaraz is delayed due to tightened security checks upon arrival at the arena, according to AP.

In the stands, the US President Donald Trump is visible, who was met by both boos and applause when the audience perceived his presence.

The match was supposed to start at 20.00 Swedish time but now seems to start at 20.45.

The final is a historic moment in the tennis world. Never before have the same two players met in three consecutive Grand Slam finals during the same season.

In Max's broadcast, both Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz can be seen eagerly waiting to start playing the match.

It's not a good situation for them now. They are probably not so happy with Trump right now, says Mats Wilander in the TV channel.
