The U.S. Department of Labor announced that job statistics for January will not be released as planned on Friday due to the federal government shutdown, CNBC reports.

“The publication will be rescheduled when government funding resumes,” a senior official at the ministry’s statistics bureau said in a statement.

Parts of the US government shut down over the weekend after a budget package failed to pass by a deadline. Before government operations can return to normal, the budget must be approved by the House of Representatives, which is expected to happen this week.

Last fall, the US government also shut down, delaying several statistical reports.
