It is Sports Business Journal that reports that Mullin showed no sympathy for Iran at a World Cup security briefing on Monday when he spoke to a small group of reporters.

Iran was eliminated from the World Cup group stage after a goal - which would have taken them through - was disallowed for offside after a VAR review against Egypt (1-1).

"I was so happy when we were able to revoke their visas and they left American soil, and I might have sung a song or two and maybe even danced a happy dance," Mullin says.

After the start of the war in February, Iran's participation in the World Cup has been marred by visa problems and the team had to move its base from the United States to Mexico.
